Grand Palladium Bávaro Suites

Stayed here March 2022 for a week. We loved it. All hotel staff was friendly and seem to enjoy thier job. Altagracia was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make our 1st vacation in a long time a very good one. Lobby Quick check in was quick and easy. GABRIEL was very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a cool fruity drink . Then we were wisked off to our room by cart. This resort is big but very easy to get around with those carts that are always driving by. Just flag one down or grab it from the lobby Room We had room 1849. It is a rooftop Terrace Jacuzzi Jr suite. It is the 3 rd block of buildings from the beach. In buildings E18 on the resort map facing the ocean . Up 4 fights of stairs. With the smallest view of the ocean. The room was nice it was a little dated but it was clean. There is no clock . The Jacuzzi is a joke . Don't bother waisting your money. It took almost 3 hrs to fill. And the jets.... are horrible, you couldn't even tell it was turned on. I can get more bubbles with a straw. There is no privacy u can see the other roof top rooms across and beside. The Jacuzzi rooms face the ocean and the front of the resort. U are barely in the room anyway. The hair dryer had no real power so if u have long hair it will take u a bit to dry your hair. The toiletries they provide are heavy perfumed. The wifi only worked in the bathroom area when u first walked in. Did not work in the bedroom or rooftop. Maid service was always great .always had enough towels. There are no robe and slippers like stated. Beach It was really nice always enough chairs and shade. The beach was sandy and a few days there was seaweed from the night storm that washed ashore. A few days with really big waves. They have alot of people bugging u to do tours and buy stuff but that's Dominican. La Catedral Breakfast buffet Was really good. Had anything u want to eat. It was Huge. Eggs made your way ,crepes, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage potatoes, and meats and cheeses and sweets wow to much to name. The same everyday Dinner buffet Again so much to list but fresh grilled meats ,sushi, Italian, American, Dominican etc.. something for everyone pretty much the same every night All lunch buffets at all the resorts are the same thing every day .one u get at one u get at the other we tried going to poseidon for something different than El Arecife .nope the same. They have soup sandwich ,panini station ,fish ,grilled meats. ...etc. Except LA Uva is a quick lunch grab on the beach . Has a smaller menu . Burgers .tacos. etc... XTime it a 24 hr snack and food place . Pizza .burgers.fries .nachos.popcorn.pastries.guacamole .pico.donuts and candy. Also there is a order menu. This place needs to be redone. There are holes in the floor I almost fell ...there are balls missing from the pool table and handles missing on the fuse ball . Paisana MY favorite restaurant. It is Argentine. The food was really good and the portions are HUGE. GREAT service from Santa and Marco. They really made our dinner special. Eldorado Steak house we had a good experience. The portions are huge and the service was AMAZING. I wish I would of got her name .she searched all over for the pink sparking wine I wanted to try. The steak was a lil tough better at the Argentina restaurant. Sumpturi This place was fun and tasty. 3 sitting times . 2 table areas. Really good experience. You need reservations for the sit down restaurants. U can reserve and cancel them on the hotel app or at the huge line at guest services.
